The essence of Divine tales........

Hinduism is a divine religion. Its origin dates back to mythological times. All its epics and religious books are of time immemorial. There is no other religion in world with such a huge collection of divinity. Many of the statues, places, pagodas and earthly bodies mentioned in Hindu epics are still found frequently, thus making the belief in such stories all the more.

These great stories apart from dictating the supreme powers of Hindu Gods also lay emphasis on various moral values. Every story carries with itself a theme which closely relates to the modern worldly cultures. All the good and evils have been engrossed in such stories and fortunately not just the questions but all our answers are also present in these stories. These stories thus prove to be a source of inspiration for us to follow our lives.

Unfortunately in the race of modern lives, we are continuously leaving behind our cultural values at a rapid pace. One of the greatest cause for the same is the absence of these divine stories in our lives which not only imparts us knowledge about our great religion but also generates within us a feel of religiousness, an essence of purity and serenity which is very necessary keeping in mind the way of life we have developed for ourselves. Today the faith in God is diminishing and along with it is diminishing the fear of God. Yes..the fear of God, the fear of Almighty which helps us derive our action and let us differentiate between the Good and the Bad, the saint and the evil, the moral and the immoral,

Divine Tales is an effort to bring an insight to all such big and small stories which find an important role in our lives. A basic knowledge of these stories is must not because they are a part of our culture and we should know them but also because having them in our mind and heart, we are bound to choose the good over the bad and our actions are going to be more pure, more generous and more divine.

Read this blog for many mythological stories from many different religious books of Hinduism. Since ours is a divine religion, the views on a topic or over a tale might vary from person to person or from a group to the other. All the stories are tried to be kept in the most simple words and their most true form available. However, there may be a mismatch of certain terms, places, or objects, none of which is intended by me. In any such case you are requested to please drop your view in the comment box below the concerned post. Any suggestions from our readers are highly welcomed.
